China Merchants 5G intelligent port innovation Laboratory has been progressing in Shenzhen, and is committed to building a world-class smart port. Therefore, our first trip to Shenzhen will offer the participants a profound experience of maritime logistics.

Guangzhou has accumulated multiple marine industries, including marine aquaculture industry. To promote the sustainable development of Hong Kong's fisheries industry, we require a good model system to learn marine aquaculture from different aspects. Marine-based Technology Transfer and Commercialization
Zhuhai has established a National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Zhuhai Yunzhou Intelligence Technology Ltd. is the first high-tech enterprise, integrating research, development, and production of unmanned voyage. In addition, Yunzhou is the first start-up company that brings unmanned ship technology from university laboratory to market, and plays a demonstrative role of technology transfer in marine science.

Zhongshan has introduced marine renewable energy utilization companies such as Mingyang Smart Energy, and built a regional marine engineering research and innovation center. Jiangmen is an advanced manufacturing base for marine vessels, carrying various marine engineering enterprises, such as Heysea Yachts Co., Ltd, Yinhu Ship, and Xinyuefeng Shipyard Ltd. Visiting these marine engineering enterprises at Jiangmen will help HK maritime industry to improve the maintenance skill and inspire the development of antifouling coating for marine vessels.
